About The Role
***As the Technical Sales Representative, you will be based in Melbourne (OR in the Hunter Region NSW) looking after VIC as a territory, as well as quarterly trips to NSW & QLD to service accounts within those states.

You will be selling our client's state-of-the-art winemaking equipment and machinery that ensures the highest quality production processes to end-users (i.e. Wineries, Breweries). Speaking with production managers, engineers, maintenance managers and business owners on a daily basis.

Providing them with technical solutions to their problems. This role will have you maintain existing clients whilst hunting for new opportunities. Working closely with the National Sales Manager who will provide you with full product training.

Responsibilities

  • The Most Important Thing: Technical Sales experience selling capital equipment such as printers, machinery, lifting systems, warehouse racking, power tools, and other bigticket items into a similar/comparable client base.
  • Industrial sales professional with a strong track record of success will also be considered.
  • Experience dealing with food and beverage manufacturers is desired and will be highly advantageous.
  • In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone with a team player mentality, solution sales approach and the ability to build strong relationships.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years sales experience as Sales Account Manager or in similar fieldbased sales role
  • Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions
  • Strong Sales/BD skills and business acumen
  • Customer services and relationship management skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • IT skills (Netsuite, Excel, other as required)
  • Autonomous operator, but also enjoys working alongside a remote small team
  • Reliable, selfmotivated / driven
  • Flexible, respectful, trustworthy/honest operator
