- Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs
- Conduct fault finding and trouble shooting tasks and processes
- Compile service records on maintenance activities carried out on items of plan
- Drivers' Licence (HC Licence advantageous)
- White card
- Certified Diesel Mechanic and/or Certified Mechanical Fitter
- Well-developed knowledge and extensive practical experience in mechanical repairs and servicing procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Sound diagnostic ability
- Be prepared to work cooperatively as part of a team, but be able to work autonomously when required;
- Strong inter-personal skills, able to work co-operatively with internal and external contacts;
- Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, bio-security and operational requirements;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Must be reliable, punctual and motivated;
- Good attention to detail;
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks.
