The exciting opportunity:
- Option for the role to be part time (minimum 4 days a week) or full time
- Based 15kms South of Perth's CBD
- Operational and clinical responsibility for the delivery of the organisation's Counselling services from Butler to Albany
- Lead, mentor, empower, manage and provide clinical support to a team of 20 Counsellors and Peer Support Workers, driving a high performance culture
- Participate in the development of strategy and business planning, including the review and updating of processes so they are streamlined and align with the other allied health teams
- Identify areas for service improvement to ensure best practice care is provided in line with governing legislation
- Manage a small case load of clients so you can relate to your staff's experiences and maintain your clinical skills
- Develop and nurture positive and mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders

About you:
- Must have a Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Counselling or Bachelor of Social Work
- Demonstrated ability working as a successful Counsellor and Manager within the disability or mental health sectors is essential
- A confident and supportive leader who empowers staff and has a proven track record driving sustainable change
- Great critical thinking skills; able to review processes and identify areas for improvement
- Driven, adaptable, motivated and innovative with excellent communication skills
- Experience providing counselling to people with neurological conditions is highly desirable
