The exciting opportunity:

Option for the role to be part time (minimum 4 days a week) or full time
Based 15kms South of Perth's CBD
Operational and clinical responsibility for the delivery of the organisation's Counselling services from Butler to Albany
Lead, mentor, empower, manage and provide clinical support to a team of 20 Counsellors and Peer Support Workers, driving a high performance culture
Participate in the development of strategy and business planning, including the review and updating of processes so they are streamlined and align with the other allied health teams
Identify areas for service improvement to ensure best practice care is provided in line with governing legislation
Manage a small case load of clients so you can relate to your staff's experiences and maintain your clinical skills
Develop and nurture positive and mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders

About you:

Must have a Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Counselling or Bachelor of Social Work
Demonstrated ability working as a successful Counsellor and Manager within the disability or mental health sectors is essential
A confident and supportive leader who empowers staff and has a proven track record driving sustainable change
Great critical thinking skills; able to review processes and identify areas for improvement
Driven, adaptable, motivated and innovative with excellent communication skills
Experience providing counselling to people with neurological conditions is highly desirable
