- Ensures that all chargeable works allocated within your area of responsibility are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with our quality systems.
- Undertakes an active role in assisting the selling of goods and services of Otis Elevator Company Pty Limited, coordinating with the Service Sales departments in Melbourne.
- Maintains a service for Otis equipment in their area, providing prompt attention to reported problems.
- Develops relationships with other contractors to assist in meeting business goals.
- Maintains company tools, equipment, and materials in good order and safeguards against missing and damaged goods.
- Maintain and adhere to the Quality System, including procedures and manuals. Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy your processes' customers.
- Work together with the VIC Branch Manager in the absence of the Service Manager T Repairs.
- Maintain cordial relationships with customers, suppliers, government and regulatory bodies, industry associations, and the public in the Melbourne area.
- Responsible for complying with company Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact the environment or any employee.
- Trade qualifications as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic with additional studies in Electronics.
- A minimum of two years of proven successful experience in elevator maintenance/repairs.
- Self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision.
- Holds a current electrical license
