Job Summary


Reporting to the GM Commercial TAA APAC, the Partnership Manager, will have responsibility for identifying, owning, and managing best of breed third-party partners across Australia.

This includes developing and executing a strategic partnership plan primarily across two Software portfolios and our Research and Learning business to broaden product penetration, increase revenue, deliver value, and improve the customer experience.

The role will have responsibility to research, originate and manage commercial third-party partnership opportunities as well as maintain trusted relationships that contribute to the delivery of value driven products and services.

The ability to build collaborative relationships, engage constructively, communicate value and positively influence partners, client, prospects and internal teams in the identification, origination, onboarding, and adoption of third-party products and services is critical to the success of this role.

It will suit an enthusiastic Partnership Manager looking to join a business in transformation with the ability to work in an autonomous fashion.


Responsibilities:

Partnership Management

  • Develop strategic partnership plan in line with company goals and coordinate with various managers to execute plan.
  • Identify new partners in Australia that will contribute to the growth of the organisation, promote strong client engagement, and support the attraction and retention of clients.
  • Provide insight into industry trends, priorities, challenges, market opportunities as they relate to best of breed partnering.
  • Accountable for endtoend partnership delivery from opportunity identification, discovery, pitch management, technical feasibility, commercial viability, benefits realisation, and alignment to client benefits.
  • Work closely with multidisciplined teams of product owners, technology specialists, sales and gotomarket teams to drive partnership plans. Identify and manage risks and flag major issues early.
Reporting & Risk Management

  • Actively responsible for partnership planning, assurance and governance and provide reporting back to the business on partner plans, commercial onboarding, integration and implementation.
Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership to business on commercial thirdparty partnerships.
  • Have capability to lead and work effectively as part of a management team.
  • Support an environment where internal stakeholders are motivated to do their best to help the organisation achieve its objectives.

Financial Management:

  • Strong adherence to budgetary controls and ability to mitigate risks that could lead to financial over runs.
About You

  • Have proven and demonstrable experience as a Partnership Manager; offering in excess of 5+ years' experience working in the delivery of product related partnerships in Australia
  • Skills, knowledge and experience in identifying and assessing third party services and development of business cases
  • Experience working with a partner ecosystem
  • Strong background influencing stakeholders, with experience with large corporate clients well regarded
  • Knowledge of Tax and Accounting is highly desirable
  • Commercial acumen with an innovative and technical mindset
  • Problem analysis and solving skills
  • Strong people management experience and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
