What you will do


As the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and direct leadership of a recruiting team covering Australia and New Zealand.

You will drive the selection, development, and engagement of this high-performing team.

As a strategic talent advisor, you will build relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and diverse recruitment sources in addition to maintaining excellent partnership within TA.

Your key responsibilities include building a team that delivers a phenomenal client experience through credibility and results, while enabling future organizational growth.

In addition to driving a culture of continuous improvement and development, you will inspire a team of recruiters to achieve greatness, lead Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives that allow us to deliver flawless execution to the business.

You will be a key member of the APAC TA Leadership team who help to deliver on Stryker's growth goals for the region.

  • Build and lead a highly efficient and customerfacing team of TA professionals who are business knowledgeable, proactive, responsive and clientfocused, ensuring consistency in recruitment strategy and practices across the region in alignment with the Global Talent Acquisition Strategy
  • Enable a team of recruiters by managing, mentoring, coaching and developing their performance
  • Coach and consult with hiring managers on recruitment and talent mobility best practices to ensure that talent acquisition is driving the business to meet and achieve its goals.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and driving the talent acquisition metrics and performance (Example: time to accept, time to present, Diversity, Client Satisfaction) and analyzing trends to identify and solve potential issues before they become issues
  • Conducts critical analyses using businessintelligence tools to ensure analytics are assessed for efficiency and effectiveness that lead to profitability
  • Continuous improvement: refine and increase the quality of search delivery and the diversity of slates
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, employment trends affecting the recruitment function and current employment legislation and policies
  • Align regional processes and global processes, drive best practice standardization, promote accountability of metrics, and ensure team is meeting recruitment goals
  • Instill a culture of positive recognition and continuous improvement throughout the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Prepare, communicate, and educate the organization on recruiting resources / systems / procedures

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of work experience required
  • Previous HR or rolerelated experience required
  • 4+ years businessfacing HR, HR COE, HR Operations, or rolerelated experience preferred
  • Experience leading an internal recruitment team (direct people leadership) with a strong focus on coaching, development, and operational excellence preferred
  • Ability to drive programs, lead people through change and meet deliverables in a complex environment
  • Experience working in a global MNC and COE model preferred
