Are you up for the challenge?:

We are currently looking for an experienced
Program Coordinator to join our national Technology, Engineering and Knowledge (TEK) group.


Based in Brisbane, this role will see you leading the coordination and support of the Queensland TEK team, and will involve the coordination of programs of work associated with our TEK team.

In addition, this role will provide support in management and scheduling of day-to-day activities of the team, logistics and travel, and reporting and records management.


About the Role:


  • Coordinate and support the delivery of TEK programs of works.
  • Plan and organise TEK events and Program activities within budget
  • Collaborate and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless, focused execution of the Digital Strategy and other TEK initiatives.
  • Provide support to the Leadership Team in the preparation of correspondence, presentations, marketing material and reports for the business, clients and internal purposes associated with the TEK programs of work
  • Proactively manage relationships with key clients as a representative of the team
  • Analyse, prioritise and respond to communications on behalf of the DE Team, including escalating or delegating to other SLT members as appropriate
  • Manage the daytoday activities of the DE team and broader TEK team within the nominated region, as required
  • Coordinate with the Team Assistants of TEK to effectively support the delivery of the TEK Programs
  • Maintain and improve records management systems, including the Microsoft Teams environment, ensuring information is accurate, uptodate and stored safely
  • Provide accurate information and customer service to the client, internal stakeholders, external vendors, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.
  • Identify, modify and improve work processes where necessary
  • Assist with various administration tasks as required including filing, records management, invoicing, scheduling (this can include diary management) and travel arrangements
  • Assist other team members with JH systems and programs
  • Treat sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
  • Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, reporting, systems and procedures

About You:

This position could suit someone with a Team Assistant/Personal Assistant/PMO/Program Coordinator background.

We are looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in a similar role, within an office environment, who has provided support at a senior level.


You will have a sound working knowledge of data and administrative management practices and be proficient in the use of relevant software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite.


Your ability to support and lead an administration/project team, using discretion and intuition in sensitive matters, coupled with your strong ability to build and develop good working relationships across multiple divisions will see you succeed in this role.
