About The Role
Our St Andrews Ipswich Private Hospital caters to a wide range of nutritious meals to patients.

In our Catering team, you will work alongside a fast-paced team that thrives on delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Ramsay Core Values.


This role will involve:

  • Preparing high standard, nutritious cold larder sandwiches, salads and desserts for private hospital patients and doctors
  • Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practices
  • Assisting the broader team as required
  • Stock management
  • Availability across a 7day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital environment but not essential.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
  • Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
  • Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
  • Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay's core values

About Us
St Andrew's is an acute hospital specialising in numerous clinical services. Our surgical unit specialises in orthopaedic, ENT, urology, gynaecology, general surgery, oral and maxillo-facial. We provide full acute medical services, including cardiac and critical care with twenty four hour In-house Medical Officer cover.


The hospital provides a complete obstetric and pediatrics service in our Women & Children's Health Unit, ensuring all family needs are met.


Requirements:


Everyone who joins Ramsay:

    vaccinated against Covid19, a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
