As a Risk and Compliance Analyst specializing in Technology Risk and Controls Assurance, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our risk management practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in technology & risk management, preferably with a background in development or architecture. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to transition into a second line of defence position, where you will contribute your expertise to strengthen our risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of technology risks and controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards related to technology risk management.
Perform regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on risk-related matters, offering insights and recommendations to mitigate potential threats.
Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in technology risk management, incorporating new knowledge and techniques into our practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in technology risk management, with a focus on controls assurance.
Strong understanding of development or architecture principles, with the ability to assess technology risks within complex systems.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are a plus.
