A bit about you
- Proven track record in driving contractual sales
- Experience and knowledge within the mining/industrial sectors highly desirable
- Experience leading and developing a complex team in a highvolume environment
- Electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience essential
- CRM experience essential along with outstanding customer service skills with a 'customer first' mentality
- An eye for detail and a passion for profitable sales
- Ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks based on urgency for the customer, but with an understanding of the commercial impact to the business
- Thrive in a culture of change and be an advocate for driving change through your team
A bit about your role
- Actively work with our external sales to maintain and grow our customer base
- Actively grow our account sales and margin through service and off contract opportunities
- Manage the daytoday operation of the Internal sales team, including coach, leading and communicating key priorities to create an inclusive culture/build high levels of engagement
- Ability to manage diverse and complex supply contracts in partnership with internal stake holders
- Seek ways you and your team can improve the level of service being offered to our industrial and mining customers
- Manage escalations and ensure the departments KPI's are met
- Manage customer DIFOT in line with the contract terms
- Actively manage our CRM system with your team to ensure compliance with business KPI's
- Ensure customer requests are actioned in a timely manner within allocated timeframes
- Engage with customers, suppliers and sales teams to cultivate strong longterm working relationships.
