About the role


As IT Delivery Manager, reporting to the Technology Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects within our organisation.

This multifaceted position requires a seasoned delivery manager with a deep understanding of project management methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to navigate complex technological landscapes.

The IT Delivery Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive project success and uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency.


Duties

  • Manage the team of Project Managers, Project Managers and Business Analysts, providing leadership, mentoring, monitoring, and building capability.
  • Oversees the daytoday workload, ensuring work is allocated, prioritized, and completed within defined KPIs.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery (scope, quality, budget, time) of a portfolio of projects, with a continuous focus on learning and improving project delivery.
  • Manage vendors/suppliers delivering bespoke development services, ensuring alignment with standards and supportability.
  • Drives improvements and efficiencies, introducing a robust SDLC and best practice processes.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring trust, respect, and accountability for successful digital/technology project delivery.
  • Facilitates a quick turnaround of critical support issues for production systems.

What you need

  • 5+ years experience working in a similar senior IT position within a fastpaced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in Digital Product Management
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders, Vendors and both internal and offshore technology teams.
  • Ability to manage, coach, and develop a crossfunctional team.
  • Task and work management, ensuring ontime delivery.
