Cadet / Graduate to join their growing business.
Projects will of an Industrial nature up to about $100m+, experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar will be an advantage.
As Cadet / Graduate, you will need to have strong commercial acumen and will be working on contracts management, bid management, design management, OHS, programming / planning experience as well being in meetings with consultants and subcontractors to provide a high quality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Design comprehensive project programmes and communicate to team
- Ensure construction programmes are followed
- Identify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when required
- Manage project expenditure and cash flow
- Provide accurate monthly rolling final account forecasts
- Management and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projects
- Price, submit and negotiate variation claims
- Full oversight of contracts administration
- Design management
- Manage set project sustainability objectives from commencement to completion
- Manage OH&S on the project
- Deliver and manage client expectations
- Deliver on project quality to programme
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar
- Undergrad to 3 years+ experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 background
- Knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
- Strong project financial reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Welldeveloped interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Construction Safety Induction (white) card
