About the role


We are looking for people to join our Melbourne team as Disability Support Workers in the community, part time positions are currently available to work with the community care team.

As a support worker you will support clients with personal care activities, assist with mobility and support people in completing their daily activities and assist them in the community

Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.

Promote customer choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the customer

We have clients living at home in Ringwood, Croydon, and surrounding suburbs. Where we can we will roster employees based on geographic location to minimise travel.

What you will bring

A Certificate III or IV Disability or minimum Cert III in Individualised Support Disability Speciality or a superseded qualification combined with experience in a related field

NDIS Worker Screening clearance

Current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle

Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself

Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation

Ability to work independently and effectively manage time

A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
