The Disability Transition Advisor will lead a Career Education program specifically designed for students with disability. As part of a teaching component, the Advisor will co
- deliver the program alongside teachers and a disability service for students receiving NDIS supports in their final year of school. SACE recognition will be provided to enrolling schools to support SACE completion. The Advisor works with the other Advisors and Student Pathways and Careers staff.

There will be 3 locations for the Transition Programs based at TAFE SA Noarlunga, Elizabeth, and Adelaide. Programs will be based on demand, following a set criterion for a maximum of 12 students per group.

Each program works in partnership with the enrolling school and family to provide students with disability, the skills, and opportunities to transition directly to an employment, further education, or employment pathway.

Qualifications:

Essential:
Current Teacher Registration

Desirable:
Relevant post graduate qualifications

Special Conditions:

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

S121-2: $126,216
