Senior Clinician Physiotherapist

Part time ongoing position - 32 hours per fortnight:


  • Based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), Parkville:

Supportive team in a busy and vibrant Emergency Department

  • The RMH ED is looking for a Grade 3 Physiotherapist
  • Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team of clinicians providing care for the almost 30,000 ambulatory care stream patients we see each year.
  • You will join a team of both physician and nonphysician clinicians treating patients in the Ambulatory care steam. In this role you will provide advice and support to the other physiotherapists working in ED.

Your new role:


  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team both autonomously and under physician observation.
  • Assist in the provision of physiotherapy services throughout the ED, including providing support to more junior colleagues.

About you:


  • You have extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and have worked in an emergency department environment or advanced musculoskeletal clinics.
  • You hold post graduate qualifications in Musculoskeletal, Sports or Advanced Scope Physiotherapy (completed or working towards completion).
  • You demonstrate a high level of clinical reasoning and clinical knowledge.
  • You have welldeveloped leadership and communication skills.
