We are seeking a Document Controller to join our project Delivery team.

You will be responsible for liaising with our project team, clients and suppliers to ensure the best project support possible.

In this position, you will report to the Senior Document Controller. This position has become available due to a retirement in our team.

This position is located at our West Perth office.

We continuously support a large range of projects, across a range of products - delivering to a range of customers including RTIO and BHP.

We work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Our team culture is professional, dynamic and supportive, with our team members located around Australia.

What you'll do

  • Receive, record, and distribute all incoming and outgoing documents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Issue transmittals and provide progress reporting concerning the documents in circulation.
  • Expedite the review and approval of documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments and suppliers to collect, review, and update projectrelated documents.
  • Monitor document changes and revisions, maintaining version control and traceability.
  • Participate in the planning of projects as required.
  • Assist wider team members with system issues, document formation and other process requirements.
  • Implement and enforce document management standards and best practices.
  • Engagement with vendors, fabricators, and contractors with regards to document control interface.
Who you are

  • 2+ years Document Control or Administration experience.
  • Intermediate and above Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel).
  • Professional and calm in communication style, maturity to deal with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as part of team and independently.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic.
  • You enjoy a varied workload, have strong time management skills and enjoy liaising with a wide variety of people.
Desirable

  • Experience with Document Control in an Engineering / Mining environment.
  • Aconex and Team Binder knowledge an advantage, though not a requirement.
  • Experience with Document Management Systems.
  • Experience with document transmittals.
