Remuneration:
$27.83 per hour to $31.70 per hour

About the role


The Allied Health Assistant will provide support to the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists working with the Calvary Transitional Aged Care Service in the delivery of health care services to patients residing in the Georges River and Bayside (south of the Cooks River) local government areas.

This position is permanent full-time.


Your main duties will include:

Assisting in the delivery of direct client related activities under the supervision of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists

About you

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent work experience and a willingness to work towards certification

Current Class C NSW drivers licence

Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate a basic understanding of technology relevant to the work unit and comply with information and communications security and acceptable use policies

Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision, to organise work priorities and manage time effectively.

Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles.

Sensitivity to the psychosocial needs of aged care clients and their carers.

Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
