What's on offer?_
The handson, daytoday management of sampling and testing in accordance with specified requirements.
Sampling and testing asphalt, aggregates and bitumen.
Management of reporting, record keeping and calibrations.
Reporting nonconforming product.
Carrying out testing to satisfy the relevant Inspection and Test Plan.
Conduct procedures safely and maintain good housekeeping of laboratory and surrounds.
Maintain the laboratory in accordance with NATA requirements.
NATA signatory for the laboratory of a wide range of tests.
Travel will be required, based on the needs of the business.

To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience:

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Tertiary qualification in Laboratory Technology
Current and valid Driver's Licence
2 years' experience in construction materials testing is desirable though training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Understanding of TMR specifications and requirements
Flexibility to work weekends and night shift as required
Be willing to travel as away work will be required
