About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Victoria State Practice Lead for our Youth Program You will provide support to the State Manager across all services in Victoria for the implementation and ongoing delivery of The Salvation Army's Youth Services' Model of Care. As the Practice Lead, you will play a pivotal role to foster strong relationships across the state.

Responsibilities include

Develop and deliver practice and development plans for all services
Participate in and lead national working groups and communities of practice
Assist in development of training plans for the implementation and support of ongoing professional development
Deliver, source and support training for staff. Consistency across the state is imperative
Provide expertise in development of service delivery models for tenders and new opportunities

This is a permanent full-time position, based Victoria wide. You will be expected to go to all Youth Service related offices. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be based at one of those offices – based on your location. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 7.

You will have

Degree qualification in Psychology, Social Work or related fields
Post graduate qualification (would be highly regarded)
Minimum of 7 years experience delivering therapeutic interventions with young people
Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of therapeutic frameworks relating to young people and its implementation in practice Understanding of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) (would be highly regarded)
Experience in change management
Experience in implementing service models and frameworks
Demonstrated experience delivering reflective practice in both group and individual settings
A Current Driver's Licence
