TGRC is looking for an ambitious Investment Associate to join a leading advisory firm on a hybrid basis in Sydney.


Company Overview:


The Green Recruitment Company is proud to partner with a leading corporate advisory firm that specialises in M&A and financial advisory across a diverse range of sectors including Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, and Industrials.


Due to their continued growth across Australia, they are looking for an Associate to join their team to support M&A transactions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct financial analysis, including building complex financial models from scratch, valuation, and due diligence, to support M&A transactions in the renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, offering memoranda, and other client presentations.
  • Conduct industry research and analysis to identify key trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for clients.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to execute transactions, including managing relationships with clients, buyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the negotiation and structuring of transactions, including reviewing legal documents and coordinating with external advisors.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying potential clients, participating in meetings, and contributing to marketing initiatives.

Your Profile:


  • 23 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or M&A.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Masters of CFA certification is a plus.
  • Experience building complex financial models from scratch.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Genuine interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, with a desire to develop deep industry expertise.
