contract job in Sydney Olympic Park NSW.

Reporting to the test and commissioning lead - you will take the ownership of defect management and site coordination to facilitate planned commissioning activities.

Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Coordinating and executing physical defect rectification works for communication and SCADA systems in a commissioning environment.
Providing practical, handson support to test and commissioning engineers during troubleshooting
Liaising with the Test and commissioning Engineers on work progression and completion
Supervision of staff at the site
Ensuring that all personnel working on site comply with all necessary licensing, induction and site safety protocols.
Act as the site representative
Liaise regularly with the Safety Manager to ensure the maintenance of compliance with HSE regulations on site.
Monitoring and formal reporting of progress and defect status

Skill and Experience required for the role:

Diploma or certificate level qualifications in construction works and site supervision.
Relevant experience within Electrical OR Transportation(rail) domain.
Strong practical experience in electronics, Electrical, communication or signalling
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
Proven ability to supervise, advise and support engineering and technical staff.
Hold a current NSW Electrician licence.
Hold a current White Card and Open Driver's License
Commissioning experience with Rail Systems highly regarded.
