Your new team

Our People and Culture Group delivers the Fund's people experience and governance, talent management, resourcing and rewards activities with integrity and energy.

The Talent department is responsible for AustralianSuper's recruitment, employer branding, learning, leadership and talent management activities. It is tasked with delivering a high performing workforce in line with the Fund's objectives.


Your new role

In this newly created role, the Early Careers Consultant will be responsible for supporting the ongoing design and delivery of the Fund's early careers programs; a key enabler of the Fund's strategic objectives to build a high performing and diverse workforce.

Reporting into the Graduate Program Lead, you will play an active role in supporting the coordination and implementation of talent attraction, recruitment and development activities - ultimately creating a purposeful and engaging experience across AustralianSuper's Early Careers programs.


Some of your key duties will include:

  • Contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of the Fund's employee value proposition for Early Careers, and its effective promotion.
  • Developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders, including universities, careers teams, student associations/societies and students
  • Acting as an Early Careers brand ambassador for the Fund and leading involvement in the design and delivery of associated internal and external initiatives
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver communications and campaigns relating to Early Careers programs
  • Supporting the coordination and delivery of assessment and selection processes across the Fund's Early Careers programs to ensure strategic objectives are met
  • In partnership with our Learning team, supporting the design, delivery and continuous improvement of development pathways for all Early Careers programs
  • Supporting the coordination of Graduate Rotations, Projects and formal development, ensuring both Graduate and Fund objectives are met
  • Collaborating on and owning projects, within and outside the Talent department
  • Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to position the Fund as an Early Careers employer of choice

What you'll need

  • Prior experience working in a high performing talent environment is essential
  • Experience in the design and/or delivery of early careers talent programs, talent attraction, assessment and selection experience
  • Strong project management skills, including planning and reporting
  • Communication skills, including planning/scheduling and delivery of program/project communications is highly regarded
  • Developed relationship building skills, including an ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • High levels of selfmotivation and initiative
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation and communication skills is required
  • Passion for early careers development is a must
