The role


The overall purpose of the Officer, Accounts Payable is to ensure that all payable invoices are entered accurately, payments are processed within each creditors trading terms, and deadlines are met.

Other duties include but are not limited to;

  • Process tax invoices and paperwork including staff reimbursements, client and estate refunds and petty cash reimbursements.
  • Prepare and process supplier imports as required and match remittances to supplier paperwork.
  • Respond to supplier and service queries in a professional, polite manner.
  • Reconcile statements for suppliers.

What we are looking for

  • Ability to perform accounts payable processes including supplier statement reconciliations within a highvolume processing environment.
  • Proven ability to deal with supplier queries and outstanding accounts in an efficient manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • An ability to work within a team environment with minimum supervision, prioritise a work schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, database programs and office equipment.


You will also be required to hold a current National Police Certificate and provide proof of a Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
