    Quantitative Trader
    Location: Sydney

    Are you ready to join a team that's making waves in the world of finance? We are looking for a Quantitative Trader who is passionate about financial markets, loves to solve complex problems, and wants to make an impact in the trading world.

    As a Quantitative Trader with us, you will have the opportunity to develop, test, and implement cutting-edge trading strategies across a variety of asset classes. You'll work with a team of highly skilled traders, developers, and researchers who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of finance.

    We're not your typical trading firm - we're all about innovation, creativity, and taking calculated risks. We want our traders to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and come up with new and exciting trading ideas.

    Here's what we're looking for in a Quantitative Trader:

    • A passion for financial markets and a deep understanding of trading.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in statistical modeling and programming.
    • An entrepreneurial mindset - we want our traders to be creative, innovative, and willing to take calculated risks.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you'll be working closely with other members of the trading team to optimize trading strategies and maximize profits.
    • A track record of success in developing and implementing trading strategies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, test, and implement quantitative trading strategies across a variety of asset classes.
    • Conduct research on financial markets and identify potential trading opportunities.
    • Analyze market data and make trading decisions using statistical models and algorithms.
    • Work closely with other members of the trading team to optimize trading strategies and maximize profits.
    • Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as finance, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in statistical modelling and programming.
    • 3 years of work experience in a Quantitative Trader role or similar
    • Knowledge of financial markets and trading, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing trading strategies.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
