  • Salary based on experience, range: $97,922 $122,400 plus super
  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model

About the role:

Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking a Coordinator, Quality Assurance Framework to join our team and play a key role in implementing VLA's new Quality Assurance Framework (QAF).

Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, this exciting opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in managing the project design, delivery, and implementation of the new QAF as well as coordinate changes to VLA's quality assurance processes.

In addition, this role will see you work closely with and collaborate with key stakeholders across VLA and with our legal sector partners to support continuous improvement across Grants and Quality Assurance (GQA) workflows to ensure business goals and objectives are met.

You will also provide information and advice on the Quality Assurance Framework and Compliance and Audit Procedures to VLA managers, panel lawyers and different program areas across VLA.


  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including an ability to consult, negotiate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading change and project management, including design and developing a plan, and working within project management frameworks.
  • The ability to learn quickly to acquire knowledge of relevant legal and policy frameworks, VLA's grants management system (ATLAS), and VLA's Practice Standards and funding guidelines.
