Job Title:
Procurement Manager

Engineering Networks is exclusively partnering with Tas Water in the recruitment of their new Procurement Manager. TasWater is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation dedicated to providing essential services to the community.

Location:
Devenport, Hobart or Launceston

Key Accountabilities:

Manage and develop sourcetocontract function for optimal support of business function
Monitor vendors for consistency and quality.
Drive continuous improvement.
Lead, support and develop a team of procurement professionals (procurement and purchasing)
Foster positive relationships internally and externally.
Collaborate with stakeholders, optimizing financial and compliance objectives.

About the successful applicant:

Degree qualified in Law, Business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
Extensive experience in S2C processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Expertise in procurement best practices and supplier relationship management.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite and specialised software.
Excellent communication and financial management skills.
Professional Association membership highly regarded (e.g CIPS)

This role will require some overnight and local travel, and a Driver's License is a mandatory requirement for the position.
