- Issuance of all legal notices including Default Notice and Notice of Exercise of Power of Sale;
- Issuance of all notices in accordance with the Privacy Act;
- Preparation and processing of payments for external stakeholders and suppliers;
- Processing and allocation of all dividends payments received from insolvency practitioners;
- Preparation and processing of debt referral payments and cases through collection agencies;
- Processing write offs of bad debts;
- Investigating and responding to requests from Bankruptcy Trustees and Insolvency Practitioners;
- Reconciliation of Internal Bank Accounts;
- Sorting and delivery of daily mail items;
- Management of team mailbox;
- Filing, scanning and other general service and administrative duties as determined by Team Leader and based on team requirements
- Accounts Payable experience
- Time Management – must be able to work in a high-pressure high paced environment.
- Organised - able to cope with a wide variety of demands and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- High attention to detail
- Communication, written/verbal — Ability to concisely and accurately communicate the Bank's requirements and discuss collection issues with Banking staff and relevant professional representatives.
- Interpersonal Skills.

- Sound level of Banking product knowledge.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
- Working knowledge of legislation affecting recoveries and collections — ie Consumer Credit
- Code, Privacy Act, Corporations Law, Bankruptcy Act, Trade Practices Act Property Law Act Debt
- Collection Guidelines and Code of Banking Practice
- Knowledge of systems and collection processes and procedure

Asset Admin Officer
We are currently seeking an Asset Admin Officer to provide administrative support to the Customer Assist teams through the completion of the administration functions that support Customer Assist in managing customers whose loans are in arrears.
This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Full Time role based in Brisbane, offering 37.5 hours per week.
