Our client is a federal government agency located centrally in Canberra and with national offices around Australia. They are in the midst of a digital transformation program whilst continuing vital services to the Australian community.The Opportunity:
This team is rapidly expanding to deliver critical functions to Australia. The role being offered is a six-month contract with a possibility to extend.
Whilst those who have experience with a federal government agency will be highly regarded, this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to also enter the Australian Public Service who has experience in AP/AR with a private organisation.
The finance team for this Agency is highly regarded.The Role:
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day AR / AP processing
- Maintaining financial and travel processing
- Undertaking general administrative duties
- Interpreting and providing advice to staff on travel entities in line with current legislation, policies, and procedures
Your Background and Experience:
You are an experienced accounts officer, that has a background with both accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. If you are enthusiastic, communicative and enjoy working in a fast-paced high volume accounts space this is the opportunity for you
Current Australian Citizenship is mandatory to be successful in this role.
Salary / Rate:
- $71k - $77k + 15.4% Super
- Central Canberra location
- Up to 3 days per week working from home
