The Company


Australia's leading organization for the education of medical professionals is growing and looking for you to help run the office day-to-day and support the administrative requirements of the teams who focus on their events.


Their work contributes to the ongoing education and professional development of doctors (GPs), nurses and medical professionals in the healthcare industry around Australia.

You will also get to positively impact the mental health and wellbeing of young people through their not-for-profit charity. Some of their clients also include the large Pharmaceutical organisations. Prior experience within the medical field is
NOT essential, though it is favourable.


The team collaborates on all their activities, the office kitchen is always generously stocked (they tell me they're trying to reign it in, but they just really like snacks), and they love to get to trivia nights.

The work is fast paced, rewarding and in a very stable and secure sector. Less than 10 minutes' walk from the train station and they offer some flexible working options.


The Role


Reporting to the CEO, you'll be working closely with the Events team and the Digital Communications team, supporting the administration requirements (registrations, updates etc.) and the day-to-day running of the office.


  • Tasks and duties will include:_
  • Managing the delegate database entering registrations/updates manually as required
  • Ensuring CPD accreditation and point uploads are attributed correctly
  • Vendor and supplier management monitoring performance as well as ensuring all invoicing is sent to Accounts on time
  • Being the main point of contact in the office, meeting & greeting any guests
  • Looking after any post/mail/courier requirements and managing the weekly catering

About You

  • To be successful in this role you need:_
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and strong time management/prioritising skills (Experience working to strict deadlines)
  • Extremely high attention to detail it is ESSENTIAL in this position
  • To be able to handle a wide range of tasks efficiently
  • An outstanding customer service focus and be great working within a team and autonomously
  • To exercise a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
