Where would you fit?

x15's mission is underpinned by our Core Platform - a n operating environment where empowered people and modern technology can collectively enable start-up pace, enterprise safety, and scale through integrations with CommBank.

It currently fuels our ventures throughout their lifecycle, but this platform is only at its infancy - the journey ahead is new, ambitious and exciting.

To help map out this journey, we have recently created a Platform Strategy team under x15's Chief Product Officer.

This team will ensure our overall strategy is being effectively determined, communicated, and delivered into real outcomes for our ventures.

This means we do a bit of everything (thinking, doing, challenging, structuring, and communicating) in service of, and on behalf of, the various functions and ventures within x15.

You would be the newest member of this small team, and be integral to its success.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to see how corporate venturing inside one of the largest companies in Australia actually works and is keen to leverage their strategy consulting experience in their next opportunity.

This role reports to the Platform Strategy Lead.

About this opportunity

Like any strategist, you'll find yourself wearing many different hats throughout the day, and on a steep learning curve (but that's part of the fun).

In doing so, you will s upport the articulation of x15's C ore Platform vision and roadmap, drive strategic prioritisation across the business, and develop a deep understanding of how modern and emerging technol ogies can bring start-up to corporate.

You'll be put in front of senior leaders across x15 and CommBank, to learn about, challenge and influence their thinking.

By doing so, you will be able to bring together our specialist teams to build a consistent and cohesive narrative on why our Core Platform unlocks value.

Your responsibilities

Take an active role in developing, articulating, and putting into practice x15's strategy, including preparing executive papers and other materials.
Help structure and drive the overall roadmap for x15's Core products and services and develop a strong working relationship with our product, technology and risk teams.
L ead specific strategic initiatives that cut across specialist teams.

Effective writing and presentation skills.
Proven experience in s trategy d evelopment, demonstrat ing a problemsolving toolkit.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to constructively challenges ideas and the status quo.
Ability to build and foster relationships with senior stakeholders.

Understanding (and interest) in modern and emerging technologies
Startup or scaleup experience, with an understanding of t heir common problems
