Are you a dynamic and motivated individual looking for an exciting opportunity? Well look no further, our clients are currently hiring for the position of a Yard Person / Equipment Cleaner at their Smeaton Garage location.

Position Available:
Yard Person / Equipment Cleaner

Location:
Smeaton Garage, NSW

Full time availability (Mon-Fri)
Pay rate paying between $32$34 per hour + super
Potential to turn permanent for the right individuals.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, reporting directly to the onsite foreman, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Building Preparation:
Ensuring buildings are hire-ready through thorough washing and cleaning.

Repairs and Maintenance:
Assisting in the repair and maintenance of buildings.

Installation Skills:
Fitting and installing windows, doors, moldings, and hardware.

Construction Area Maintenance:
Keeping the construction area tidy through sweeping and general cleaning.

Safety Observance:
Identifying and reporting any hazards encountered during duties.

Workspace Management:
Keeping work areas tidy and safe.

Manual and Material Handling:
Engaging in manual handling tasks and effectively managing material handling.

Forklift Operation:
Loading and unloading buildings using a 16-ton forklift.

Stock Management:
Maintaining stock levels of frequently used materials.

Storage Organization:
Ensuring returned items are stored in a tidy manner within designated storage areas.

Supervision:
Providing direction to suppliers, deliveries, and contractors as needed.

Adaptable Duties:
Undertaking other duties as required.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

High-Risk Forklift License:
A current and valid high-risk forklift license.

Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Commitment to Safety:
A strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental procedures.

Physical Fitness:
Physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling tasks.

Driver's License:
A current driver's license.
