About us

We are a retail/wholesale plant nursery passionate in environmentally sustainable practices, permaculture and helping to create and support healthy local ecosystems. We grow and sell mostly rare and unusual natives, fruit trees and bush tucker and have one of the largest ranges of these plants in QLD.

Qualifications & experience
Experience working in a nursery or garden centre is ideal. Landscape industry experience also a big plus

As we are expanding into the aquarium trade; any experience and interest either professional or as a hobbyist is a huge plus as well (but not necessary).

Knowledge of natives/ exotic plants and/or fruit trees is ideal


Tasks & responsibilities

• Customer service selling plants, filling orders, and handling of some transactions. A bit part of this job is dealing with customers so must have outgoing positive personality
• Potting up of plants
• Pruning, staking, tagging, weeding plants and otherwise maintaining plants/preparing plants for point of sale and for outgoing orders.
• Cleaning, slashing & general nursery maintenance.
• Physically demanding job that requires work in all weather conditions outdoors. Being fit and healthy is a must. Must be able to work well within a team and also autonomously without supervision. you will be left to your own devices a lot and will be need to be trusted to work unsupervised. There is always something to do to keep busy here
• Potentially managing/supervising other staff down the track. for the right person this role WILL turn into a management position.
• Updating inventory system.
• Can follow directions and has an eye for detail.
