The Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Taxation is responsible for supporting the Functional Lead and Subject Matter Experts in the documentation of current and to-be financial business processes, which leverage the out-of-the-box functionality available within the Oracle Fusion Cloud system.


Key elements of this role include:

  • Contribute to design activities relating to the new solution, including business requirements definition, development of the proposed functional configuration and to-be business processes.
  • Consult and liaise with agencies and internal stakeholders to develop solutions and processes that adopt leading financial practices.
  • Undertake complex project work including process reengineering and standardisation.
  • Provide expert Tax process related advice to the project team.
  • Contribute to the development of new process, policies and procedures.

Special Conditions:


  • Some out of hours work may be required.
  • Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
  • The incumbent will be required to participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program.
  • The incumbent may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department.
  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory SAPOL Clearance or General Employment Probity Check as directed by Shared Services SA.
  • The successful applicant must hold current Australian work eligibility status.
  • Shared Services will initiate appropriate background screenings for successful applicants at Shared Services SA's expense. Applicants should not initiate their own screening checks or clearances and doing so will not entitle the applicant to reimbursement from Shared Services SA of costs incurred.
  • The role will be based in the CBD but working at the Port Adelaide office may also be required on a regular basis.

Remuneration:
ASO7 ($106,512 -$115,137)
