Unanderra as an
Operations Support Officer.

Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally_ _recognised brands.

Are your ready to embark on an exciting journey and be part of building a brand-new pipe and tube mill from the ground up? This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel team where you'll be involved in the construction of our new Pipe and Tube Mill based in the Illawarra.

You'll be able to use your exceptional administration and project support experience to support the initial phase of the new venture.

In this permanent role, you will report and provide administrative support to the site's Manufacturing Manager and the broader team.

You'll have the opportunity to make an impact by providing vital support for general business activities and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our site's administration.

What Will You Do?
As a valuable and dependable member of the team, you will:

assist with administration tasks relating to office functions, HR, operations, training, reliability, and HSE and quality

- implement and deploy Orrcon Steel Health, Safety and Environment plans
- maintain compliance with site environmental management plans, and lead initiatives for improvement to be included in the strategic plans for the site
- undertake a full range of administrative support services, including record generation and management, data entry, and updating relevant databases
- perform general office organisation such as ordering stationary, filing, and authorising purchases

As a proactive operations support officer with great coordination skills, you'll have a positive attitude combined with the desire to lead innovation and change.
