About Us:


Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) is a business unit within Fines and Enforcement Services (FES), Department of Justice and Community Safety's Courts, Civil and Criminal Law group.

ESS is responsible for managing the end-to-end infringement system in Victoria.

The Debt Program Team (DPT) is responsible for the design of programs related to the collection and enforcement of infringement fines and court fines in Victoria.


About the role:


Some of your duties will include:

  • Performing administrative and daily functions relating to the day-to-day operations of the DEPT.
  • Researching and extracting data and intelligence through a range of IT programs (including but not limited to the ESS production system
  • VIEW, GlobalX, VicRoads Driver Licence System, ASIC and relevant mercantile systems, as well as publicly available information, to assist in the preparation of comprehensive and uptodate debtor dossiers on individuals and companies with outstanding fines.
  • Managing elements of targeted enforcement initiatives, campaigns and activities.

About You:


  • Knowledge of, or the capacity to learn and understand, the functions and operations of ESS, with an understanding of the endtoend fines system.
  • Understanding of, or the capacity to learn and understand, the legislation applicable to debt, specifically the Fines Reform Act 201
  • Demonstrated experience in VIEW, GlobalX, VicRoads DLS, ASIC and relevant mercantile IT systems.
