Job purpose

  • Further develop the Australian & New Zealand market and brand awareness
  • Drive and implement the strategy and sales targets for both markets. Manage and develop the sales team in Australia according with the overall brand strategy for Australia
  • Ensure alignment with overall Global and local Vision, values and Strategy
  • Develop and strengthen the corporation across Head office and local team

Responsibilities:


  • Set overall sales target in cooperation with management
  • Ensure sales targets are met and engage the team to reach and exceed these targets
  • Train and update the team on product knowledge and other tools to drive the business
  • Be updated on all relevant figures: budget status /Gaps/ order books
  • Align expectations on key KPIs between customers and team
  • Drive activities to reach / outperform sales targets
  • Manage and plan activities to ensure reversed season collections are coordinated with Head office and local team
  • Strong partnership with Danish HQ including relevant designers / buyers / marketing / NOOS and express team

You develop and implement sales strategies and tactics including but not limited to:

  • Partner with customers (key accounts) to deeply understand their business needs and objectives in order to deliver new value and insights.
  • Develop the proper solution (price, product, service) to ensure sustainable sales growth.
  • Ensure that we nurture and grow existing customers and actively acquire new customers.
  • Ensure effectiveness of sales activities and processes and identify key areas for improvement.
  • Optimize the selling process (activities, cycle and calendar) according to customer needs.
  • Plan and execute business development initiatives.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
  • Ensure alignment with overall Global and local Vision, values and Strategy
  • Develop and strengthen the corporation across Head office and local team
  • Incorporate the brands core values across all business aspects

You provide your team with ongoing performance management:

  • Create and sustain a customer centric culture by leading and inspiring your team.
  • Recruit high potential talent by assessing skill and cultural fit.

  • Develop and grow a team of strong and committed individuals that will achieve overall objectives.
  • You prepare and manage brand portfolio budget:
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets
  • Ensure attainment of sales objectives
  • Ensure profitable growth
  • Approve budget expenditures of your team
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • You maintain partnerships with various stakeholders:
  • Partner with the Marketing team to obtain market and customer insights to ensure
- strategic brand positioning in the market and drive strategic sales growth (new customer
- segments, new value proposition, emerging and untapped markets).

  • Partner with Wholesale planning to obtain daytoday merchandise planning and product performance analysis.
  • Maintain healthy working relationships with your Denmark counterparts (Head of Brands).

What it takes.

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • High degree of business acumen, critical thinking, and creative problemsolving skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of sales management principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent operational skills and talent for examining and implementing processes, formulating policy, and developing new strategies.
