This client is a long
- and well-established company within the Australian market and prides itself on its people and corporate governance principles such as community support, and environmental policies.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality and Regulatory Manager, you will provide leadership across the business for health and safety, environmental and facilities management in their distribution centres, Australia wide.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the ISO 14001 standards to enable certification for the business.

Interstate travel will occasionally be required to ensure all policies and procedures are being adhered to and are consistent across the business and to ensure all site equipment works and services are being carried out as per schedules and adequate records are maintained and actions are followed up.

A national police check will be required for the successful applicant.

Key Requirements

Tertiary qualification in EHS or a related qualification.
Certification in environmental ISO 14001 standard.
Previous health and safety experience in a large distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment.
Previous health and safety audit experience.
Ability to lead, educate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Some facility management experience is highly desirable.
Ability to travel interstate, when required.
