- Develop cost estimates and bids for infrastructure projects
- Review project requirements and manage budgeting
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and team members to meet project standards
- Coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Develop construction programs to support tender pricing.
- Conduct Quantity Take Off (QTO) assessments.
- Perform Risk and Opportunity evaluations when required.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in either Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Over 5 years of estimating experience tendering for civil and road projects valued up to $15m.
- Proficiency in estimation software at an advanced level.

The company has expanded into the power and rail industries and aims to become a leading civil contractor in New South Wales, with activities extending interstate.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
The ideal candidate will develop cost estimates and bid proposals for both public and private projects. This individual will assess the project scope, gather bids, analyse specifications, visit project sites, and examine construction plans. They will also need to consult with clients and vendors to guarantee competitive pricing and adherence to budget constraints.
