MAYDAY is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead a team of Project and Contract administrators for a Facilities and Maintenance company in Northmead.
Your role is to manage and lead a team of collaborative Project & Contract Administrators while also being involved in handling, creating, negotiating, and reviewing of contracts.
This role is a contract position with a view to moving to a permanent contract.

Role responsibilities:
Operational Support- Assist project managers in defining project scopes,
- Lead and motivate the NSW Operations Support Team to oversee workforce planning and productivity management. procurement schedules, and tender evaluations.
- Audit and prepare contracts based on proposals.
- Manage insurance requirements and approvals for projects.
- Source costeffective quotes from contractors and suppliers.
- Handle contract paperwork, including processing claims and invoices, and maintaining project receipts.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks and issue contract variations.
- Address queries from contract parties.
- Control project budgets and provide spending reports.
- Supervise contractors to ensure contract compliance, including project deadlines.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Organize and attend site meetings and share technical knowledge.
- Monitor contract progress to ensure ontime and certified project delivery.
- Update the business on contract performance.
- Assist in resolving contract disputes and renewing contracts.
- Analyze business performance and suggest improvement strategies.
- Support client account management.
Project Admin Duties:
- Manage project delivery documentation.
- Engage with key stakeholders, schedule regular meetings, and record decisions and tasks.
- Monitor project status from inspection to completion, including budget approvals and progress payments.
- Prepare and coordinate quotes, budgets, and purchase orders.
- Issue construction progress reports and project documentation to clients.
- Compile and review various company contracts and prepare bids and tenders.
- Build and maintain valuable relationships with customers and subcontractors.
- Onboard and prequalify new subcontractors and ensure compliance.
- Partner with WHS Manager to meet safety requirements and drive improvement.
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly work reports.
What you need:
- Previous experience in a Project Admin/contracts admin position essential
- Experience in the Construction or Facilities Management industry essential
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work well in a busy environment, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
- You must have full work rights
- Ability to commute to Northmead 4 days per week.
