About the role:


In this role, you will be leading the investigations and delivery of a wide variety of maturity and continuous improvement programs across the Strategic partnerships function in Technology, driving outcomes that increase stakeholder and vendor experience, reducing process and system complexity and inefficiency to achieve strategic goals, and enable the business to make informed decisions.


  • Key responsibilities include:_
  • Obtain a deep understanding of the business, systems, interdependencies, challenges and processes to be able to recommend solutions and develop streamlined, efficient uplifts
  • Working with business stakeholders to drive improvement with partners
  • Developing a sourcing strategy for technology and identifying partners to engage
  • Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions, and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Present insights & recommendations for maturity and continuous improvement programs and activities
  • Developing execution plans managing scope, time, risks, stakeholder engagement and change management elements, and status reporting
  • Leading the assessment and deployment of opportunities to mature processes, automate reports, and create system efficiencies to reduce administration waste, system complexity across the Strategic Partnership function
  • Using a variety of techniques to gather and understand business needs and challenges, such as interviews, workshops, surveys and storyboards.

About you and your skills:


  • Strong understanding of supplier management reporting needs, contract management onboarding and financial processes
  • IT Financial Management & commercial knowledge, including contract management financial reporting and processes
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Power BI
  • Capable of making decisions that are conducive to good business processes and relationships
  • Ability to engage and operate at all levels within the organisation
  • Ability to process map and identify and execute process improvements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP, Ariba, Fieldglass, Power BI
  • Experience in a Technology function is preferred
