THE ROLE


Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Automotive Sales Clerk is an important link in providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will provide

timely, efficient, accurate and

professional processing of enquiries, quotes, product sales and area reporting. Your strong administration skills, polished customer focus and ability to work well within a small, fast paced team are vital for success in this role.

The successful applicant's duties will include:

  • Use selected inhouse computer program/s to provide quotes, confirm orders, invoices and spare parts to our customers.
  • Attend to telephone and counter sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide recommendations on company products (trays and spare parts) to suit the customer's needs and promote accessory sales.
  • Provide reseller details, product brochures, price lists and fitting instructions on request.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer, contractor and reseller relationships.
  • Demonstrate a flexibility and willingness to work productively with other departments.
  • Display a work ethic and approach that is professional and skilled with an emphasis on using personal initiative as a means to continued role success.
1) Demonstrated and recent sales experience - particularly servicing customers via telephone.

2) Previous automotive/4x4 industry and/or spare parts experience
-
highly regarded.

3) A keen interest and ability to understand technical concepts and interface with end customers, to realise their needs.

4) Well developed communication skills - in both verbal and written forms.

5) Outstanding administration skills - including a good working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

6) A "can do" attitude, with a genuine desire to assist our customers and fellow team members.

7) A team player who is proactive, demonstrates flexibility and exhibits professionalism at all times.

8) Current driver's licence and own reliable transport - a must.

9) Must be punctual, reliable and available for work Monday to Friday, from


8:00am to 5:00pm.
