Overview:

- rhi is recruiting for a
Principal Piping Designer across a portfolio of projects and introduce fresh perspectives and expertise to our clients current teams.
  • You will be contributing to some of Australia's significant oil and gas projects, both in greenfield and brownfield developments.

Responsibilities:


  • To be successful, you have prior senior designer level working experience in the Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering and maintenance project environment with both onshore and offshore scopes with particular emphasis on Brownfields modifications

What we are looking for:


  • Demonstrated experience to drive design teams to deliver Quality design deliverables
  • Demonstrated capability of performing the full range of discipline design and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills
  • Technical associate's degree or equivalent in education and/or experience
  • Demonstrated ability to check piping deliverables
  • Self starter with the ability to guide / train junior level designers.

Qualifications:


  • Tertiary qualified in Engineering / Drafting
  • Minimum of 15 years piping design experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Minimum 5 years in Principal Design role managing project scopes and resources
  • Understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements
  • Ability to problem solve effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Ideally a competency in E3D CAD systems.
