In an organisation committed to customer service and putting 'Customers first', this role provides advice to a range of stakeholders in relation to the internal and external reporting and statistical analysis of complex youth justice departmental data collections, trends, and performance.

This role manages a team to support various external and internal reporting and analysis activities for the department, including data collections, requests, and written advice.


As Manager, you will specifically:


  • Provide leadership and expert analysis and interpretation of the evidence base for youth justice data collection, analysis, and program measurement for the department.
  • Lead and manage analysis and modelling projects to support a broad range of policy and service delivery imperatives related to the services delivered and contracted by the department.
  • Represent the department at state and national data and analysis network forums, as required, preparing high quality correspondence, submissions, briefing notes and reports.
  • Promote and manage relationships with key stakeholders including national working groups and central agencies, nongovernment stakeholders and departmental business units.
  • Lead and manage a team of multidisciplinary officers to ensure the strategic goals of department and branch are achieved using an evidencebased policy framework.
