    Description

    Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology) Are you looking to grow your career as a Fareye Solution Engineer in Logistics and Execution?At Four PL, we believe in taking a "hands-on" and pragmatic approach to supporting customers through their journey.

    The engagements will vary in depth where in some cases we try to utilize the customer resources and do more direction and governance, whilst in others, we do more implementation work for the customer.

    We expect that a Far Eye Solution Engineer's role will be dynamic in moving between systems configuration, development and consulting, provided this is clearly defined with the customer for each engagement.

    This is a senior position contributing towards delivering value to our customers by ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable solutions.

    The position requires working collaboratively on the Far Eye platform with Technical Program Managers, Solution Architects and other technical specialists ensuring the delivery of optimized Far Eye Platform Solutions that meet customer operational needs.

    As a Far Eye Solution Engineer, you should be able to configure and implement in the Far Eye Platform, identify opportunities for improvements in the current solution delivery process and contribute positively to ensuring a continuously improving delivery process.

    In addition, the candidate should be aware of programming best practices and participate in code reviews in collaboration with the team.

    Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration are very important in this role.

    RESPONSIBILITIESThe role will include the ability to support a range of engagements through the consulting lifecycle including the ability to lead and perform the solution engineering aspects of configuration and implementation of Far Eye modules and support Management and Senior staff in a range of engagements through the consulting lifecycle including: Responsible for ensuring a robust and scalable solution delivery to Far Eye customers.

    Solution design of customer requirements against the various functionalities of the Far Eye platform Solution configuration of customer requirements within the Far Eye platform Performing analysis of use cases and participating in project estimates.

    Accountable for ensuring programming excellence in the code developed.
    Ability to debug systems, and read logs and should have working knowledge of monitoring tools.
    Highlighting, documenting and creating mitigation plans for project risks.

    Release preparation (Planning deployments, version setup, coordination, etc.)Ensuring process improvement and compliance in the assigned Project and participating in technical Discussions/reviews.

    Adding value in Organizational responsibilities- Interviews, Documentation and Training.
    Set measurable and attainable targets with the technical program manager/lead solution engineer.
    Collaborate with the team to fine-tune solutions.
    Should be able to do effective root cause analysis and identify solutions to issues.
    Keeping self-updated with the new features knowledge at the product level.

    PRE-REQUISITES2 – 5 years of experience in implementing and configuring within the Far Eye Platform- last mile solution is essential.

    Strong Problem-Solving skills.
    Excellent Communication Skills with customer handling experience.
    Code and process review as well as best practices.
    Experience in executing enterprise-level application solutions and deployment.
    Mentorship to new team members.
    Know-how of the Logistics Industry is preferred.
    Qualifications/Certifications Appropriate tertiary qualifications or experience in Information Technology or related field.
