We are currently looking for a Quality Coordinator, that reports to the Quality and Completions Manager.

The role supports Quality department on the development, implementation, management and monitoring of the Project's Quality and Completion management systems, strategies and initiatives, ensuring the Parramatta Light Rail Project delivery obligations comply with the Contract Deed and appropriate handover of the project is achieved successfully.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Project Quality and Completions Manager in maintaining and implementing the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) & related QA Procedures.
  • Communicating quality management requirements including support and training on quality issues and QA databases to the team.
  • Assist the Project team relating to ITPs, Hold and Witness points, Defects Management and RFIs processing and updating the respective information electronically.
  • Work with the Document Control team, ensuring the QMP is effectively implemented, and project quality databases updated progressively.
  • Ensure the Project Records management Plan and Completion and Handover Plan documentation requirements are assessed for quality and maintained in the respective depository and electronically.
  • Analysing quality KPIs (defects, nonconformities) and assist in preparation of the Monthly and Progress Reports and summaries.
  • Assess quality elements of the suppliers, contractor, and subcontractor's and ensuring its fulfil their obligations with respect to the QA. Follow up the above, with them where required.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual quality submission requirements, and conduct site inspections where required.
  • Assist in QA in surveillance on receiving, inprocess and final inspections. Conduct ongoing health checks of the QA documentation.
  • Provide help to the team to ensure quality nonconformities closed rapidly and the related Registers are updated progressively.
  • Liaise with the project teams in undertaking audits of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, as required.
  • Producing information for the Senior Management Review, where required. Support in the Management Review meeting, prepare minutes of meetings and ensure its timely issue.

Minimum Experience and Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Engineering, or Diploma in Quality Management or equivalent Experience.
  • Quality Management Systems.
  • Worked on TfNSW Infrastructure project Skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Good verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively, and positively in a demanding environment.
