About the role

Are you a seasoned Procurement / Contract Specialist seeking an exciting opportunity in the dynamic realm of renewable energy projects? Join a team based in Melbourne and play a pivotal role in the procurement, contractual, and commercial aspects of ground-breaking renewable energy initiatives across Australia.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive large-scale wind, utility solar PV, and battery projects to success

Skills and Experience

Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role within the energy sector.
Proficiency in negotiating and managing contracts, including various types (leases, connection agreements, consultant services, supply, construction, and O&M services).
Understanding of project financial management.
Extensive experience in contracts management.
Familiarity with project contract structures (EPC, S&I, BOP).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective negotiation skills.
Indepth knowledge of Australian commercial law; tertiary legal training is a plus.
Familiarity with planning, legislative considerations in power generation projects.
