Your New Position


As part of a WHS team, you will provide compliant and hands-on safety advice in a timely manner on various project and maintenance activities.

You will be exposed to a variety of interesting projects and technology.

No two days will be the same.


Across a large industrial facility with on-going engineering, maintenance and construction projects, you will work closely with the Capital Works and Maintenance teams to provide a valued WHS service.

Multiple concurrent projects range from tens of thousands of dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars.


You will:

Provide WHS guidance on how to improve operational practices

Assist management in achieving and maintaining compliance with WHS legislation and best practice

Conduct risk assessments and review health and safety management plans

Provide advice on industry standard controls

Assist in the delivery of health and safety induction programs

Provide advice regarding health and safety incidents including conducting incident and root cause analysis


Your Background:

Tertiary Qualifications in WHS/OHS or related discipline

Demonstrated experience in a similar position providing WHS oversight and advice

Experience in facilities management / maintenance would be considered favourably

Detail oriented and proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously

Strong project and time management skills

Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) with emphasis on presentation skills

Current Drivers licence is required

Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
