This opportunity
The Product Manager is responsible for bringing new Product changes to market and is a key member of the TPG Telecom team.
The Product Manager must have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams across IT, sales, provisioning, billing and legal.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Product managers to achieve P&L budget and delivery of strategic product objectives.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with senior leaders including function Heads and General managers from the wider Consumer team, and other functional areas within the business as well as key external vendors and stakeholders by providing regular updates on the Product portfolio including impact of results on budget and competitor landscape with recommendations on strategic options.
- Work with the Finance Business partner and insights team to analyse and provide input into weekly and monthly performance trading results.
- Work with the Legal, Regulatory and Compliance teams to conduct audits and deliver reports on the findings within the regulatory framework and deadlines.
- Present and coordinate product and process improvements from inception through to gotomarket by working with IT, Retail, Digital, Customer Operations, Legal and other relevant stakeholders.
- Work within the various business processes required by each of the relevant stakeholder areas in a timely manner.
Knowledge and experience
- 3 years of Product Management experience is required, ideally in the Telecommunications/ISP/Technology industry.
- Experience leading a small team preferably in the Product Management area.
- Experience in building and conducting high quality presentations to Clevel decision makers.
- Outstanding influencing skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to deal with rapid change and quick pace with resilience and fortitude.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Postgraduate qualifications in business, Product Management or change management will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrate expertise in excel modelling particularly in business case modelling for pricing and promotional offers.
- Demonstrate advanced expertise in stakeholder management and project management methodologies and techniques.
