Description

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement & Logistics Manager To establish and manage an efficient supply chain for all aviation-related parts, components, and consumables, prioritizing the optimal serviceability of the fleet.


This role will be responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance within the Safety Management System, audit programs, and findings and provide supervision to ensure recommendations from audits are implemented to all individuals in the workplace, including contractors and visitors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Planning: Collaborate closely with Group maintenance planners to anticipate requirements and implement appropriate materials planning strategies.
  • Purchasing: Develop, implement, and manage procurement policies and procedures. Foster relationships with suppliers for costeffectiveness and delivery reliability. Source the most economical solutions for spare parts procurement.
  • Inventory: Effectively manage inventory of aviationrelated parts across all locations, adhering to sound stock control principles.
  • Logistics: Establish and manage costeffective delivery mechanisms to all Group locations. Negotiate longterm, costeffective contracts with freight forwarders for part supply.
  • Rotable Component Management: Ensure effective management of all rotable components, including tracking and overseeing repair & overhaul procedures.

Selection Criteria:


  • Bachelor's degree in business management or supply chain.
  • Proven experience in aviation logistics.
  • Proficiency in supply chain techniques.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and oral, with a capacity to work effectively across various geographic and cultural context
