The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our small close knit management team.

As a guide your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage end to end processing of a large fortnightly payroll in compliance with the applicable awards, legislation and Company policies
  • Review and maintain our payroll and workforce management systems to ensure employees profiles are accurate and up to date
  • Working closely with our store managers and head office team
  • Provide excellent customer service, timely resolving payroll inquiries from team members
  • General accounting and administration duties, including pay adjustments
  • Uphold our "lean" culture by working with management to identify and action opportunities resulting in operational efficiency and effectiveness

The ingredients for success

  • 5 years of payroll experience
  • Proficiency in payroll and workforce management software, experience with humanforce and Sage Micropay an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Excellent time management and strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, balancing 'day to day' vs 'project work'
